Pros: If you’re looking for a place full of experts and opportunities to become one yourself, get yourself into structures at Boeing.

Cons: Sometimes things go slow and are segmented. As a designer on a program, you will have very specific parts under your ownership with a ton of requirements and restrictions. This is not necessarily a con to some people, but it is good to know.

Pros: Pay, health benefits, dental, 401k

Cons: Horrible management. Low pay for long hours. Critically understaffed. Low raises, title-only promotions. Not much leadership; managers just manage schedules and need your dates to be met. No growth. Sometimes work is not that challenging; it can be done by high school students. Salary raises are pretty much set because of the union, averaging about 3 to 4% each year.
