There is a vast level of knowledge available, and everyone is willing to mentor and teach. The Technical Fellowship's job is to help you out when and if you need it.
The goal is to keep budgets low and stocks high, even if it slows down innovation. Middle management is painfully short-sighted.
Being so big turned you away from your initial vision.
