Not a good place for engineering careers. Too many people with a lack of experience managing engineering teams. It looks like executives are playing a "pull-up and push-up" game with where the pendulum swings, without thinking about any consequences.
For early engineering careers, look to the veteran engineers who have spent their entire careers and been kicked to the curb disgracefully. All good engineers left very unhappy and disgruntled. It is very scary and awful to feel your life's accomplishments are in vain.
