Pros

-Their benefits are excellent and after a while of being employed with them, you feel useful.

-College financial help that pushes you to get a degree with an easy system.

-Decent PTO, but it's the same as sick leave, so better vacation while sick.

Cons
  • Orientation was completely useless and unhelpful. You go into your work area knowing nothing of how to function as a Boeing employee.

  • Poor management skills from immediate managers lead to questionable decisions for the person in this job.

  • Absence of team mindsets in most areas and petty nonsense make you wonder if you are in a professional environment.

  • PTO is sick leave. If you get sick often, then you usually feel more encouraged to come in to work sick than stay at home.

  • Training is slow and boring. Chances are your first six months to a year here will consist of sitting around and doing nothing.

Advice to Management

Create meaningful work before hiring a bunch of new hires. This will lead to purposeful jobs. Learn to trust those who have been in their job positions for a long time. It is clear they are treated more as cogs without opinions, who have no say in how their work area could improve or worsen.
