I am finding out that the compensation package at Boeing is generally superior to other industry competitors. The benefits are pretty good as well.
Big companies often mean big bureaucracy. The tempo of projects can be slow due to government contracting and the complexity of the projects themselves. Non-technical people may not feel at home in the technical culture. Additionally, there are limited advancement opportunities for non-technical folks. All senior managers are engineers.
Focus on the business rather than the lawyers. More focused training rather than shotgunning ethics and various "workplace" training topics.
