I worked in St. Louis for years. The leadership in St. Louis is excellent. The managers and executives are open and transparent.
In Huntsville, even as a manager, I was mostly kept in the dark. When I did pass information, many times it was changed at the 11th hour, and it made me look like I was uninformed or purposefully deceptive with my team.
Be more open.
Provide feedback to your first-line managers and middle managers.
One might try sharing actual business goals with your leadership teams instead of blocking efforts to further your stated business goals.
