Job security that can come with a diversified company.

Cons

Putting additional money into education/training for employees is good, especially for younger and new employees. However, it leaves older employees, who have helped build the company, out in the cold. This approach is not well thought through, which is typical of the two-dimensional thinking of the executive and HR branches, including the bean counters.

Advice to Management

Develop some intestinal fortitude. Learn to think out-of-the-box and be more inclusive of your entire force with your decision to apply the benefit of your Big Tax Break.
