Pros

Work from home for the whole month for agile scrum masters and for the core team (especially).

Every employee gets a laptop.

Less work, as there are only existing projects, no new project development.

Only kind of support and less enhancement.

Due to less work, you can spend more time with family and friends (work/life balance).

Cons

For contract employees, maintain assigning of desktop and chair, and treat them equally with your regular employees. A contractor joining the organization does not mean that the contractor can work on behalf of every employee.

  1. Maintain a software culture and environment.

  2. Don't listen only to spy employees. How do you confirm that (spy) he or she is telling the fact and truth?

  3. No company will do a release without giving salary to those who worked for 30 days in a month. On the last day of the month, if you release them all of a sudden, without giving salary, how would an employee survive financially?

  4. Don't maintain team-level admin privileges on agile tools, because of this, an agile master can edit and assign closed user stories by one employee to their favorite employees.

  5. Maintain more than one or two good food vendors. Employees can choose which they like to eat.

  6. Here, there is no hierarchy in software development in the organization in Bangalore Bagmane World Technology Center.

  7. If any employee is misbehaving, then managers are not the right persons to relieve an employee; only HR has to do this, as the offer is given by HR, not by a manager, right?

  8. Either a permanent employee or a contractor, do not spoil their career with your favoritism and spy employee words. Allow them to say what happened.

  9. When agile scrum meetings happen, then why are contractors not included?

  10. Your core team's technical knowledge is very worst. How will you choose an employee for the core team if they only support the manager's absence for 24/7, or if they are doing good with assigned work (stories), except for doing unnecessary spying on females?

  11. Agile scrum masters are not good enough technically; why are you making them technical interviewers?

  12. Contractors are also your employees; let them also go for training.

  13. Managers are working from home 24/7. How do they judge employee performance during appraisal? There is no weekly standup based on user stories completed/to be completed. A manager is not aware of what is going on in their projects.

Celebrate contractors' birthdays also. Don't have harassment meetings on their birthdays.

Core team means not working from home 24/7. Core team means being technically available 24/7 to others technically in the software environment.

Advice to Management
  1. Stop harassment of female employees (contractors) from female seniors.
  2. Managers: Stop spoiling female contractors' careers.
  3. Managers: Stop speaking about attitude in front of all other employees, especially about female contractors. When they are contractors, you do not have the right to speak like that.
  4. Make Boeing India policies available to every employee.
  5. HRs are not sending emails to the team at least once a month about company culture, birthday wishes, policies, harassment, etc.
  6. Why do you need contractors when it is only for your project enhancements and maintenance, and when existing employees do not have sufficient work?
