Pros

Good job security. I get to work on highly complex systems. Great benefits, such as the Learning Together program, where Boeing pays for classes. Since the company is so large, there are lots of opportunities available if you know where to look.

Cons

Old company with lots of bureaucracy.

People who have been there for a long time are not especially motivated; many are counting down the days until they retire.

The company culture may not appeal to many younger employees.

Promotions and advancement come slowly.

Advice to Management

Better understand what will make young and talented workers come to Boeing and stay there. These people will be the foundation of the company in 10 years, when the existing aging workforce has retired.
