The money and benefits are fantastic. The opportunity for overtime is way above average. My base wage without overtime was about $85K/yr. With overtime, I made over $125K for 3 years.
It is loud and messy. Non-stop micromanagement. Employees, for the most part, are hardworking, but they don't get along. It is nearly impossible to get rid of toxic co-workers. Most management only cares about numbers.
Listen to your people. Give more incentives when you want a milestone set. Actually do a random drug test and get rid of your problem employees. If you lean out your management, you will make more profit. Too much management and not enough value-added employees.
This was for an entry-level role. STAR format, 5 questions. I was asked about experience and difficult/pressure situations. Besides the 5 STAR questions, a couple of yes/no questions were asked, e.g., "Have you ever used tool X?"
The interview process is quick and easy. It is mainly behavioral and about how well you fit in the team. The maximum time is an hour, and the average time for the interview is 30 minutes.
No technical questions asked. They are super focused and live and die on the STAR questions. No test required. Not even sure if they’re allowed to ask anything outside of the STAR questions.
