Some really great and incredibly smart people. The projects are interesting and meaningful. The schedules are very flexible as well.
Pay is embarrassingly low, and it's almost impossible to get promoted. Promotions are only dependent on how much budget they have and if it's the right time to promote; it has nothing to do with performance. Horrible organization and communication. There is barely any established communication between departments. You just need to "know people" to get anything done. Management has no idea what their team is working on and just cares about their own numbers.
Actually care about the people on your team and listen to them.
