Pros

At Boeing, several engineers and managers are well versed in their fields of study. Many employees have been at the company for years and possess a lot of experience to teach others. The benefits outside of work are also abundant, such as paid master's/Ph.D. programs with certain requirements.

Cons

The company is very large-scale, with several subdivisions. This can create a disconnect between different teams, or between the mechanics and engineers. Some teams feel more welcoming than others. The company also has some unethical ties, which may fall into deeper business aspects.

Advice to Management

My manager was good at communicating and keeping the team organized. Our team was good at communicating events that were happening upstream and speaking about how our work connected to theirs.
