Pros

Expect to work 40-hour weeks unless there is mandatory overtime, which was rare. But if you do work overtime, you get paid time plus extra, which is rare for salary. There are many smart engineers, and you can learn a lot in your time there.

Cons

There are definitely hoops you have to jump through, as with any large company:

  • Forms
  • A million acronyms
  • Processes

For example, ordering a part for a design can be a headache. At a smaller company, you can do it yourself and have it overnight.

The company also sells weapons to countries that use them to violate international law.

Advice to Management

Some managers have too many people underneath them and aren't very helpful.
