If you are self-motivated, you can go far. Work approximately 40 hours per week. There is not a lot of overtime if you don't want it. You will have pretty failsafe job security after 10 years. Overtime is paid at time and a half plus $6.50.
Engineering salary compensation is lower than other tech/aerospace companies. Job satisfaction is very dependent on leadership. Offices are away from urban areas, requiring regular commutes.
