There is also a lot of room for advancement within a number of different groups in the company. A lot of employees have been there for decades, which shows how loyal the employees are to the company.
Boeing also pays the tuition for full-time employees who are in school.
I would definitely recommend working here if you have the opportunity.
There seem to be major layoffs every few years. Also, since there are so many different career opportunities, people tend to move around a lot within the company. This results in a lot of training and bringing new people up to speed, which can take some time.
