For the most part, the work is satisfying when I am allowed the opportunity to work it in a reasonable amount of time.
The work can be very stressful. The company keeps "trying" to find ways to take benefits away from us as opposed to creating a work environment where people can feel like they are appreciated.
The damage here has been done with respect to the slow but sure elimination of highly qualified engineering people to actively participate in the work that needs to be done. A reactive management culture is the norm.
Nothing proactive is going on here. It's been going on for the last five years. Unfortunately, this lack of talent is and will become more of a problem that will cause contractually unacceptable consequences.
