Generally like the people you work with, good compensation, good benefits, and get to work on amazing products like airplanes. It's a giant family of people working on cool things. You can learn a lot.
Company leadership is terrible and getting worse. Simple problems are ignored. It is 100% impossible to get anything done. Even things that everyone, leadership included, agrees should be done don't get done because leadership finds excuses not to act. Mismanagement is rampant. It's so frustrating to watch good ideas fail and bad practices remain in place.
Management is clueless as to what is actually happening within their own company and lacks the humility to admit it.
Get out of your meetings and go ask working-level mechanics and engineers what's going on.
Then take ownership of what they say instead of making excuses and spinning things to pretend things are getting better.
The interview was a phone call with multiple people. I was asked the standard diversity questions and then a series of technical questions that led to more smaller questions.
This was for an entry-level role. STAR format, 5 questions. I was asked about experience and difficult/pressure situations. Besides the 5 STAR questions, a couple of yes/no questions were asked, e.g., "Have you ever used tool X?"
The interview process is quick and easy. It is mainly behavioral and about how well you fit in the team. The maximum time is an hour, and the average time for the interview is 30 minutes.
