The culture, benefits, and work-life balance are excellent. The work is interesting and the work expectations are reasonable.
The salary you are hired at will not change much over the course of many years, and promotions are too hard to get.
Raises and promotions need to be in the hands of the lower-level managers. Decisions too high up in the chain are divorced from reality or communicate a lack of enthusiasm for the current employees.
