Pros

Health and Life insurance.

100% Tuition assistance for approved programs.

Cons

Internal research and development is poor. Boeing advances its repertoire through acquisition. IRAD expenditures are assigned by political connections, not by merit.

Executive leadership would rather leverage profits to boost their own compensation via stock buybacks than to invest in the development of technology and their employees. They encourage layoffs of level 4-6 engineers, then made it extremely difficult for level 1-3 engineers to get promoted for the level 4-6 work that they had to take over.

They embrace diversity and inclusion to the point of driving the company into the ground, promoting unqualified people to positions of power.

Advice to Management

Fire the majority of executive leadership.

Replace the current top-down feudal hierarchy with a bottom-up, merit-based power structure.

Share control and profits/losses with the employees that actually make the products.
