Almost no opportunity to advance at mid-career. Management ties promotion to short-term business goals, not employee performance. If you are looking for a company that values its employees and their talents, this is not the right place. They also value non-technical capabilities more than technical ones. Management is very short-sighted.
Shortchanging your employees will end up costing you more in the long run, as you are losing valuable talent.
