Pleasant atmosphere. Good benefits. Interesting work.
Management must be drawn from the pool of engineers. Not enough are competent. However, engineers hate non-engineer managers. Women and minorities are rarely promoted into management.
The good-old-white-boy system still rules in promotions to management. The ~20% of the engineers that are from Asia need to be integrated into the company. Women engineers are routinely given clerical work because there is not enough clerical support, and of course, they are seen first as "women."
First technical interview with 3 problem-solving questions, followed by questions from Java. Second interview: In-depth questions from Java and Spring Boot. Third round: Managerial round. Fourth round: HR round, mostly salary negotiation. Tip: Do
The initial interview was through a virtual SWE conference and lasted about 10 minutes. From there, a formal interview was offered. That interview was an hour long, a behavioral interview with two managers from two different aircraft controls group
Pretty easy interview, with a short and simple practical. They'll do a lot of interviews throughout the day. I would recommend getting an early slot if possible. Dress code is business casual.
