Boeing is actually a pretty good company to work for. It really depends on the department, though, and management. Management can really make or break morale.
There's also a lot of good stuff going on at Boeing and obviously the bad, if you read the news. A common theme I have seen is a lack of established processes. It's pretty much a 'go in there and figure it out' type of mentality. If you're experienced, then you can get through it, but it would suck for someone that's brand new, like a fresh college grad.
Here's to hoping Boeing turns around, because it really is a good company to work for. Upper management, and I mean upper, like director level, has turned the company into a pile of trash. There are really good people on the floor, but when someone at the top is just out for themselves, well, just look at the state Boeing is in now.
Some upper managers only focused on themselves.
Fire all those crap managers.
Applied online and received an email to schedule a Webex interview with about five people from the team. It was a basic STAR interview, followed by a chance to ask questions at the end. The interview team did not choose to turn their cameras on.
The hiring manager called me and said that someone would be contacting me regarding scheduling an interview. A recruiter called me, and I had a phone interview with two of the engineering managers over the phone. It was a standard Boeing STAR structu
Very pleasant interview. I met with three individuals separately. They were very open with the job requirements and expectations. The environment was very informal with a lot of good dialog.
