Good onboarding sessions and a great relocation team.

Hey, random guy who wants to work at Bolt. This review is more valuable for you than a recruiter’s one-hour speech about company culture/values.
Despite my good interview results and quick learning skills, I failed my probation period due to my "communications skills". Yes, you read it correctly. I did 7 interviews plus 4 months of contribution, but my English apparently wasn't "enough".
By the way, it doesn't take 4 months to check one's English level and communication. You can define it during an hour-long written test or a 30-minute discussion. It makes me believe that the level of English was not the real reason.
I am pretty sure that the English-fluent staff among the Engineering team in Tallinn, Bolt HQ, is not more than 40%. Although my communication skills and English level were shown as the reason for firing, most teams actually use Russian in their daily use, not English.
You will not feel any requirement about Russian language skills at the beginning, but in reality, it is a strong desirable skill and maybe the reason to fire you for the lack of communication skills.
It seems company values is only on paper and, of course, in Donut.

A short interview with a recruiter, followed by a test assignment. The task is not difficult, but it seems to require a lot of attention and detail. I have not received any feedback on this task.
First call with the recruiter. When asked about salary expectations, the recruiter replied, "Well, that's in the senior range." This was amusing because the role was for a senior position. Do they expect candidates to work for a junior salary? What
