I am an iOS developer from China. Signed up through an agency. The job asked for a relocation to Amsterdam, so they wanted to make sure I agreed with that. Then the agency arranged my interview with Booking.com.
It starts with a phone call. I passed the phone call and Booking.com arranged my onsite in Amsterdam. I applied for my visa for the Netherlands and am going to Booking.com HQ in Centrum Amsterdam.
The first round: the recruiter introduces the process of the onsite interviews, then the benefits of Booking.com and also the relocation services of Booking.com's global relocation team.
The second round comes with two developers interviewing me about algorithms. The questions are average if you are just normally prepared.
The third round: two iOS developers interview with detailed iOS-related questions. The questions are average if you are an iOS developer.
The fourth round: two bosses introduce me with info about the company and department. Then they ask me business-related questions. You can find the questions in interviews of other people.
The full onsite lasts 5 hours, longer than I expected. But the whole process is cheerful and the interviewers are from all over the world.
After the four rounds, a recruiter gave me a tour and introduced the HQ office. And after some time passed, I received the offer.
Questions were average, no difficult questions.
