Software Engineer Interview Experience - Amsterdam, Netherlands

Process

The interview process involved the following stages:

  1. Phone call with the HR coordinator
  2. HackerRank online test
  3. Phone interview
  4. On-site interview at the Amsterdam office 4.1. Coding section 4.2. System design section 4.3. Personality skills interview (e.g., Googliness)

All sections went well, and I believed everything was satisfactory. In every section, I asked the interviewers if feedback would be available. They stated it would be available in a couple of weeks.

However, after a couple of weeks, the recruitment coordinator attempted to call me without prior arrangement.

I tried to arrange a call for two weeks, but nothing changed.

Finally, I received a rejection email without any feedback. It's a shame that coordinators at such a huge international company failed to arrange a call with the candidate regarding feedback.
