Pros: It has a very relaxed environment. The people who work there are both very bright and very friendly. Nice offices on Fountain Street.

Cons: They are forcing agile ways of working too hard, claiming to let us choose how we work, yet forcing a certain way.

Pros: Working as a software engineer at Booking.com was an incredible experience that honed my skills in scalable web development, collaborative team projects, and customer-oriented solutions. The fast-paced, data-driven environment challenged me to write efficient, reliable code while contributing to innovative projects that directly impacted millions of users worldwide. It was a formative period where I grew both professionally and personally. I especially loved working with my other colleagues at Booking.

Cons: The large company size can make it difficult for individual voices to be heard, with complex decision-making slowing down change. The structured environment may limit flexibility, and coordination between teams can lead to delays, which can be challenging for those who prefer a faster-paced setting.

Pros: Good coworkers, good work-life balance.

Cons: Perl stack is the worst.
