Process

I was contacted by the recruiter after applying for the role online.

I had an introductory call with the recruiter, who gave an overview of the company and the interview process.

After that, I was asked to provide my preferred slots for the tech screen an umpteen number of times. The recruiter later canceled the interview for an unknown reason and reached out to me after two months.

I had a quick tech screen that went well. Then, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview loop at their Lower Queen Anne office.

It was a pretty standard interview, involving coding, problem-solving, system design, and behavioral rounds.

I was informed the next day that they chose to go with a more experienced candidate, as the role was for a senior position.

This was a huge disappointment, as they never mentioned this during any stage of the process.

Questions

Standard questions on array traversal were asked, such as finding the maximum subsequence sum and 3 sum.

A system design question was related to their architecture.
