Video Collaboration Operations Engineer Interview Experience - New York, New York

Process

I received an email from Talent Acquisition about three weeks after applying for the role.

There was a short screening call (around 20 minutes) where we discussed the role itself, my background, relevant experience, and motivation to join Booking.com.

After that, I had a technical round (1 hour) with two team members. They asked a number of questions about technology and real-life scenarios.

Finally, the Recruiter scheduled two last interviews (another technical round with the Hiring Manager and a behavior/cultural fit assessment) for the same date. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it and asked to reschedule.

We agreed on a specific date, a week later. However, a few days after that, I received a default notification email from another person stating that the position had been filled.

It's not a big deal; life moves forward, but I believe that every candidate would appreciate more transparency in communication.
