Pros

Work-life balance is not just a selling point. The pressure is healthy and allows enough time to pursue serious hobbies after work hours.

Compensation is above market.

Friendly colleagues.

Relocation support.

Cons

Corporate bloat. (I wonder if this is avoidable at all for a company of such size.)

Legacy parts of the tech stack are not pleasant to work with. The developer experience has a long way to go to feel productive when tasked with something from the legacy realm. However, migration to new tech is happening.

Unclear promotion framework that tends to change.

Leadership feels somewhat disconnected from the data.

Advice to Management

Providing proof with data for why decisions have been made will make explaining and trust in leadership much better.
