  • Competitive salaries (above average but nowhere close to top companies)
  • Work-life balance is usually on the good side
Cons

No growth in compensation or role at all. Due to low attrition, growth has become limited, and it has been clearly conveyed to employees.

Work from home is going away soon, snatching flexibility from people.

Advice to Management
  • Allow people needed flexibility (work from home).
  • Find ways for people to feel that they are growing. If compensation cannot increase, at least let them grow in their role (maybe by decoupling roles and compensation bands). If that sounds like a bad idea, maybe ask employees about it through surveys.
