A recruiter reached out based on my online profile and set up a technical phone screen. They obviously knew my background and the skillset I bring to the table.
The phone screen was set up relatively quickly, and the interviewers seemed friendly and nice to talk to. There were three coding interview questions of increasing difficulty level.
I wrote code on CoderPad for all three within the allotted time, walked through test cases, and the interviewers agreed on the solutions and their correctness.
Two days later, I received a cold rejection email indicating my background did not fit the requirements.
What a waste of time and effort.
