People are genuinely friendly and kind. Onboarding is done in cohorts, which builds community and gives you people to ask for help. There is good documentation on existing services. The C-suite is very honest and open with employees about things that would be top-secret at larger companies. Perks are excellent. Compensation is excellent, especially the sliding-scale compensation model (e.g., choose your base and equity on a spectrum between $XXX minimum base and Y% minimum equity). There is a minimal meeting load for IC engineers.
