Audio Firmware Engineer Interview Experience - Irvine, California

November 1, 2008
Neutral ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The phone interview seemed to have three parts.

The first part involved describing my career history and telling something about myself. I guess this was mainly intended to get me feeling comfortable and to eliminate any nervousness.

The second part of the phone screen presented technical problems/questions, like what "volatile" means in C, recursiveness, etc.

The third and final part of the interview was letting me do the questioning.

Questions

What are the main disadvantages of a recursive function call in C, particularly in a resource-constrained embedded system?

Was this helpful?
