Process

An off-campus placement and the interview and hiring process was smooth.

It consisted of two rounds:

  1. Written Round (pen and paper based)

  2. Interview Round (face to face)

  3. The written round was of above-average level; you need to have your basics clear. The questions covered General Aptitude (14 questions), C Programming (16 questions), and Other Technical topics like O.S., Networking, and DLD (10 questions). Out of around 250 candidates, 44 were selected for the interview round.

  4. There was only one technical round. The interviewer immediately presented a problem statement to solve. I used C language and a dynamic array of linked lists as the data structure. Other questions were based on Operating Systems, computer networking, and digital logic, such as binary to decimal conversion and subnetting.

I was confident during the interview, even when I was stuck on an answer. After a week, I received an email from the Placement Cell of the host college stating that six students were selected, and I was one of them. Around 20 days have passed, and I have not yet received any official update from the company. They mentioned a September 2017 joining date in the Pre-Placement talk.

This was a one-year contract-based position with a compensation of 4 LPA. However, they also mentioned that this recruitment was done through a third-party vendor and is contractual, usually renewed if the employee is willing, but who knows what the truth is.

I am from AKTU and have no other offers yet, so I hope to get this one soon.
