Pros: This was once a bright and upcoming company, leading on many fronts. There still exists some of that culture, but it is disappearing fast.

Cons: The upper management is way too concerned with cutting costs. There is no long-term evaluation of how the cost-cutting will affect future growth or success. "Tripping over dollars to pick up dimes" as they say.

Pros: Broadcom is up and coming and has a strong pull in many different fields, therefore it is better able to manage during a recession than many other companies. The employees are hardworking and very motivated. Communication moves quickly with constant emails throughout. There is a heavy workload and weak communication between groups. I like the environment, but the dress code is loose, which I personally don't like. However, that may be a plus for other people. But not too many negatives.
