Process

Phone interview:

I had a one-hour phone interview with the hiring manager. We discussed my previous experience, skills, knowledge horizons, my interests, and my future career aspirations. It wasn't as tough as an in-person interview.

Personal interview:

I had a one-day onsite interview with six people, including the hiring manager, and participated in a lunch meeting.

Questions covered the following topics:

  • Board layout and design
  • OFDM techniques and wireless packets
  • Test techniques and scripting questions. I was proficient in C, but they were looking for TCL, Python, and Perl.
  • Algorithms were good enough for the interview.
  • Test setup related questions.
  • Combo chips related questions.
