Pros

Pay is okay. Most compensation is in RSUs.

Cons

To reiterate: No work-from-home policy. All Utah employees must be 100% in the office this summer. No raises for the second straight year. Management will treat you like a number, not a human being, regardless of what you bring to the table. Expectations are clear, but tools are rarely provided unless you provide them for yourself.

Advice to Management

I challenge Rich Jardine. Bring back the HUMAN element in management skill at Broadcom and start weeding out or hosting some seriously intense training with existing management on the technical side. To be frank, I see more and more intelligent, dedicated, under-compensated colleagues treated so poorly by the current 2021 management team; it's beyond disturbing. "The only people who become great managers are the ones who understand in their guts that managing is not merely a series of mechanical tasks but a set of human interactions."
