Senior management doesn't care about employees. And with Avago buying us, it will be even worse. For a CTO that is supposed to represent the collective engineering mindset, it's a huge discouragement when, in all-hands meetings, he repeatedly says we need to review our engineering staff and ensure we "curb engineering inflation." Come on, we're all engineers and not stupid. Just say what you mean. You think U.S. employees are paid too much, and you want to reduce our compensation package and shift as much work overseas as possible. Calling this "curbing engineering inflation" is just insulting.
None. They don't care. They get a nice golden parachute, and the CTO cares more about the Mighty Ducks that he owns versus being a CTO of a tech company that wants to push the envelope on technology.
