The face-to-face technical round lasted up to one hour. It went very well, but I'm not that strong in data structures, so that's where I went wrong.

This is a grueling, adversarial, and generally unproductive and unwelcome experience for the interviewee. I gather that VMWare/Broadcom pride themselves on this stringent and mildly sadistic interview process. Potential applicants, be warned.
