Start a Graduate Development Program in the UK. This would benefit not just Broadcom, but the learning community as a whole. Why hope to find a good engineer when you could make one? You could make a recent graduate into a specialized engineer in as little as a year, at half the cost!

Software Engineer
I interviewed two years ago with VMware for a SWE role. The interviews were well-defined and clear, testing knowledge of system design, data structures, algorithms, and web development topics. There were four rounds and one initial recruiter screen
Software Engineer
First, there was a written round with 30 questions (12 aptitude, 18 technical, mostly C and OS). Then, there were multiple technical rounds with questions on processor architecture (8086 and ARM), OS, and C coding.
