Pros

A good amount of company shares are given to all employees, which adds a lot of benefits—seriously, a lot.

You get to meet people of many talents and, hence, learn a lot.

You can learn new freeware technologies.

Cons
  • No hikes or bonus are given for good performance.
  • The company made it mandatory for employees to come to the office during the COVID-19 pandemic, while most other companies were prioritizing employee safety.
  • The company accused employees of increasing COVID cases in the office campus, even though it is obvious that COVID cases will increase if people come to the office during a pandemic.
  • Managers have their favorites from the North India Region, whom they appreciate even though their work quality is lesser.
  • Managers do not appreciate rightful employees.
  • Managers make employees work 16+ hours, weekends, and holidays to get the work done. Reason: They overcommit deadlines to upper management.
  • Managers always create fear amongst employees that Broadcom will fire them anytime. This gives managers an upper hand to make us work even more than expected.
  • Broadcom fires 300-500 employees every year. They have no value for employees.
  • The company does not have clarity of thought for its own product. They don't care about where they are going.
