Pros

Generous RSUs each quarter. Team goals for sales commission, predictable SIP. Management is not afraid to tell the customer no and go into a legal battle with them.

Cons

Not a technology company; there's no innovation, with lots of divesting in R&D and business units. They are a license renewals and procurement company.

They only talk to customers every three or five years when the ELA comes up. They hold customers hostage.

Constantly laying people off, thousands at a time, and it's not clear how they get away with not announcing or reporting to US regulators like other corporations have to.

This creates a super toxic environment inside the company, and they destroy every company they acquire.

People who stay there long-term have sold their soul for the RSU payday. They are heavily medicated if they believe they are actually helping a customer or contributing to innovation.

Advice to Management

Management have all signed NDAs, but at least give your employees some type of notice instead of lying straight to their face and telling them everything is going to be alright, knowing your entire team is going to be RIFed the next week.
