The process involves one HR interview and three to four technical interviews.
In my opinion, the technical interviews were quite uncomfortable. The interviewer had a very strong Chinese accent, and the same applied to the HR representative, who seemed to be reading from a script. Another distracting element was the very loud Chinese language audible in the background.
Aside from the accent, I was asked many questions about my current company's setup, including its architecture. Then, there was a LeetCode question, which unfortunately I did not solve correctly on the first try. The interviewer then wanted to run the C++ code in Lark, but we encountered a persistent Lark error, even with my code commented out. Ultimately, I had to share my screen to demonstrate that my program ran.
Finally, there was an easy SQL question that I only understood on the third attempt due to the accent.
Overall, it was a fairly easy interview, but given the language barrier, I am now unsure how one could collaborate with these individuals. I received a rejection four days later.
