Test Development Engineer Interview Experience - India
Process
I interviewed for the Test Development Engineer position at ByteDance for the Dubai location.
The process included three rounds:
- An HR round with Jaslin Jeng on 2 August 2024
- A coding and experience round on 15 August 2024
- A discussion about future goals and experience on 22 August 2024
After the third round, Jaslin Jeng informed me that the evaluation process would take two weeks.
On 4 September 2024, I followed up to inquire about the status of my application. I was told that more time was needed, but since then, I have received no further communication.
I did not expect this level of unresponsiveness from a company like ByteDance. At the very least, candidates should receive a final response, even if it is for closure, instead of being left without any update.
