Lots of swag. Attractive pay. Interesting business. WLB is still better than other Chinese companies in Singapore. Good opportunity to improve your Chinese if you are interested.
Still a lot of reliance on Chinese teams. A lot of documentation in Chinese. Increments are not guaranteed. Fast pace of development might cause a lot of tech debt accumulation and fire fighting, and even make a lot of work you’ve done obsolete in just months. Compliance to data privacy and protection is still a quite manual and tedious process. Manually maintaining mirroring pipelines across multiple data centers is very manual and tedious.
Improve developer efficiency by stabilizing infrastructure issues and having more platform abstractions.
