Work-life balance may not be great depending on the team and organization you're in. Documentation and meetings are almost all in Chinese. There is little to no growth if you choose not to work overtime, and you even risk being put on a performance improvement plan. Even with overtime and effort in delivering features, it does not guarantee a good performance review grade. You may be trading time and health for money if you don't strive to achieve a balance.
