1. Moving up in terms of job level/salary is extremely hard, as it requires you to be rated as performing 'more than expected' twice in a row for a half-year review. However, the review could be based on favoritism.

2. Expect unclear job scope or inexperienced team leads. If you're looking for a structured workplace, this is not a good place for you.

3. Redundant/duplicated work is everywhere, bureaucracy at its best, e.g., three to four similar documents, OKR completion, and monthly self-reviews, even for positions that have a fixed job scope.

You need to focus on internal hires and internal promotions for manager positions, as they know the business best.
