Pros: The compute platform/infra team is amazing and working on incredibly cool things.

Cons: Architecture oversees applications, causing downstream ramifications for all Engineering. The CEO runs Engineering through proxy people.

Pros: Where to start... Calendly hires the best, not just based on skill level but also based on interpersonal skills. The company has grown a lot in the last couple of years, and yet that standard has been maintained. It's a joy working each day with people who are so motivated and intelligent, but also so caring and supportive. When you spend so much time working during a week, it's super important to know people care about you as more than just a collection of projects and numbers. Also, I've worked here for over two years and never felt micromanaged. My direct manager is bar none the best in the industry. She's got a strong vision, but she values the contributions of others, and she truly wants people to be able to utilize their strengths. I could go on and on. Oh, the perks are also amazing! :D

Cons: Hard to think of anything major. Nothing out of the ordinary happens with any company's growing pains. Calendly has really done a great job at keeping up with their values, so no major complaints!

Pros: As a company, Calendly extensively supports a healthy work-life balance and has a great culture involving team outings, provided meals, and work-from-home days. The office is located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta and is near public transit hubs and awesome options for eating out. The product is very popular, the user base is growing rapidly, and Calendly impacts people in their everyday lives by making scheduling meetings efficient and painless. The engineering and product teams are world-class and filled with individuals who know and apply industry best practices, and who utilize the latest development tools. If you are willing to work hard and accept new challenges, you will be noticed and you will quickly become an important member of the company.

Cons: As a newer company, there is a lack of defined process for some activities and rapid change is going on, so you have to be willing to accept the change and be a part of defining the company's direction!
