Ambitious vision and mission.
Stellar perks and benefits.
Active focus on values and culture.
The current growth phase requires lots of change, both technical and organizational, all occurring rapidly. This is not really a 'con' per se, more of a challenge depending on the type of working environment one might be looking for.
1. Culture and Tech fit screen. 2. One-on-one technical interview, focused on philosophy. 3. Group interview: Given a scenario, create, present, and defend a reference architecture to the group. 4. One-on-one culture interview with hiring manager.
An initial screen with an internal recruiter. Three rounds with various representatives of the team, including the hiring manager at the end, spread out over a two-week period (roughly).
I chatted with the recruiter and then the hiring manager. The hiring manager was one of the most bizarrely cold, unemotional people I've ever met. Honestly, a sociopath. Not sure how he's going to build products for other humans.
