The interview process with Canva is great! It was a very smooth and painless process, with lots of communication throughout.

I happened to have a great recruiter coordinate the process and make everything happen, which I'm very thankful for, as I know that's rare these days.

The entire process involves three rounds of interviews:

• An initial 30-minute recruiter round.
• A 1-hour DSA-focused technical round.
• Finally, three interviews back-to-back: two technical and one behavioral.

The questions asked were challenging but fair, and also fun and engaging to work through with the interviewers. I learned a great deal throughout the process.

Without delving into specific questions, I would advise those interviewing with Canva to be prepared for technical questions from the very first recruiter call. For frontend specifically, be comfortable with vanilla JavaScript.
